The Hardy Boys #1: The Tower Treasure by Franklin W. Dixon

I picked this book up for fifty cents at a thrift store because I felt that having the first Hardy Boys book in my library would be a great addition to the children’s literature section. I read a few Hardy Boys as a kid, but I devoured the Nancy Drews. In this wholesome and adventurous mystery story, the Hardy Boys show us that doing your legwork by following each clue to its end really pays off.

Summary:

Frank and Joe Hardy, teenage sons of a famous detective, find a mystery to solve on their own when a friend’s car is stolen and the Tower Mansion is robbed of a fortune in jewels and bonds.
